I stayed here last year, and despite the small room on that occassion I decided to stay again because of the great location.

Hôtel ibis Styles Lyon Centre – Gare Part Dieu is an OK hotel but set in a bit of a wasteland. While the room and hotel in general were fine there’s just nothing, apart from the train station closeby which, when I was there, was surrounded by construction activities.

Hotel ibis Styles Montpellier Centre Comedie, Montpellier, France
In Montpellier I had decided to stay around the Comedie area because it was close to alot of restaurants & bars and I could walk to and from Gare de Montpellier Saint-Roch to the hotel. For my trip I’d mostly chosen Accor hotels so had booked myself into Hotel ibis Styles Montpellier Centre Comedie.

Aparthotel Adagio Toulouse Centre Ramblas, Toulouse, France
Aparthotel Adagio Toulouse Centre Ramblas, also called the Aparthotel Adagio Toulouse Parthenon, is a hotel quite close to Gare de Toulouse Matabiau. A 10 minute walk maximum depending on the pedestrian lights.
The Canal du Midi is a 5 minute walk if you dawdle.

Hotel ibis Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean, Bordeaux, France
For my stay in Bordeaux I’d chosen to stay at Hotel ibis Bordeaux Centre Gare Saint Jean. One of half a dozen ibis’ in Bordeaux and around a 10 minute walk from Gare Saint Jean and the trams that will take you into central Bordeaux (it’s only 5 or 7 minutes on the tram).
