The rain cleared long enough for me to jump on a tram to head to a brewpub that I had spotted the day before.
From JR Hakodate station its a 2 stop tram ride followed by a short walk to get to the location.

Hakodate Beer are brewers, and you can see the equipment in the beer hall.
I had 2 of their decent beers alongside some spicy fried chicken and finished off with banana cake with chocolate sauce.
Good location, decent beers and great food. What more can you want?
