Premier Hotel – Cabin President, Hakodate, Japan

I’d decided to stay close to Hakodate train station as this was my first visit to Hakodate and I wanted to make sure I didn’t have to lug my suitcase around.

There is a JR hotel at the station and several others within a 5 minute walk.

Premier Hotel - Cabin President, Hakodate, Japan

I chose the Premier Hotel – Cabin President hotel which is across the road from the station. Superb location.

Check-in was easy and I was in my room within 10 minutes of walking in the door.

The room was big enough for me with a double bed and desk to the side, and a poorly located huge TV in the wall that was hard too view while lying on the bed. Only other downside being an uncomfortable pillow, but I managed.

I had a very good view of Mount Hakodate to the south from the large windows.

I didn’t try the restaurants at the hotel as there were plenty of places to go close by, but the laundry service was good and not too expensive.

Check-out was as easy as the check-in and I was soon off to the station for my next destination.

This was a well maintained hotel in a great location.

I would stay here again.
