Beijing

Almost a thousand years old, and the capital of China. With a population of around 22 million this is a teaming city metamorphosing into a global city.

The shear number of people, means a huge number of cars and factories spew noxious fumes into the air constantly. In my 8 days in Beijing I don’t think I saw the sun clearly once.
