Prudence, on Victoria Street in North Melbourne, is a small shopfront bar that packs a punch. They seem to have recovered from the recent fire out the back in the beer garden.
There’s a small area in the front overlooking Victoria Street, there’s also a larger area right above the bar on the first floor (but you’ve gotta order your drinks downstairs) and there’s also a cosy beer garden out the back.
The taps host a number of local brews and a couple of international beers. But you can also get a selection of beers in cans to expand your horizons.
If you’re in North Melbourne and want a selection of beers from smaller brewers then you can’t go wrong with a visit to Prudence.
