It was a mid afternoon on a Friday and I was looking for a drink close to my hotel.
Whipping out my trusty phone I searched for somewhere that was open and locked in on a place about a block and a half away.
BEIFUTEI, Sapporo, Japan
BEIFUTEI is really an izakaya but mid afternoon I wasn’t looking to eat but rather to have a couple of quiet drinks.
It wasn’t busy when I arrived, there were probably only 1 or 2 other people in the bar, but I sat down at one of the booths and bought up the menu using the QR code.
They had a good selection of local beers for a reasonable price, so I had a bit of a local beer session.
Once I knew I was staying for more that one beer I ordered a serve of their onion rings which were amazing!
This is a great little bar and somewhere I will visit again.
