Misogin, Sapporo, Japan

I’d headed back to the Susukino area looking for lunch and did a walk through of Ramen Alley.

Ramen Alley has about 20 or so ramen restaurants and really comes to life in the evening.

Misogin, Sapporo, Japan

There were only a couple of restaurants open when I walked through and ended up choosing a small place called Misogin.

Inside is quite small with around 10 seats at the counter.

You have to order your meal at the vending machine at the door, and when you take your seat you give your ticket to the staff.

As you can guess from the name they were offering miso ramen.

I ordered a miso ramen, a serve of gyoza and a beer.

The gyoza was served first and was a good start to the meal. The ramen arrived not too much later and was delicious.

When I left there was a queue to enter, and given the food is so good I know why.
