It’s amazing what you find in train stations in Japan. You’ll find shops, restaurants, bars, hotels… you name it you’ll probably find it at one of the large railway stations.
And so it was that I was wandering through Sendai station when I happened across Kirin City+.

Kirin City+ is a beer bar, specifically for Kirin brewed beers but there are other on offer like Guinness and whiskeys.
The food menu is quite large so everyone should find something to suit. As I’d already eaten pizza for lunch I just went for a couple of smaller dishes to tide me over.
When I visited there was a potato and bacon dish which tasted pretty good, and a small serve of spicy fried chicken.
Drinkwise I had to have a Kirin beer that I’d not had before including the Kirin Braumeister and the SPRING VALLEY BREWERY Toyojun Lager 496. The lager was the beer of the visit.
Nice place for a quick meal and drink while waiting for your train.
