In the early evening I headed back into Akasaka looking for a drink and some dinner. I had a bit of a shortlist of bars – one I couldn’t find, the other wasn’t open yet so I headed to the 82 Ale House.

After exploring some more of Akasaka in the morning with a visit to the closeby Hie Shrine I headed into the Yona Yona Beer Kitchen that’s situated pretty much right on top of Akasaka-mitsuke subway station.

I was now back in Tokyo for the tail end of my trip. In the past I hadn’t explored the Akasaka area so was determined to do so this time.
A search pointed me to a restaurant / bar with very good reviews about 200 metres from my hotel by the name of Sansa.

This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza ANA Osaka having stayed here 2 years ago.
The hotel is around 400 metres from Osaka station where you’ll probably arrive from Shin-Osaka station but luckily there’s a shuttle bus that runs half hourly or so between the station and the hotel. I can’t seem to find the shuttle bus on the English website, but there is one.
