I really liked Café Latitude in the little oasis of Place De La Canourgue in Montpellier.

On my first morning in Montpellier I headed out west to the Arc de Triomphe
and to the Saint-Clément Aqueduct.
Afterwards I wandered around the small streets where I happened on Café Latitude set in small park along with a number of other eateries.
It was a sunny morning and the alfresco seating across the road from the cafe was almost full, but I managed to grab a recently vacated table and ordered a coffee.
The coffee was quite good and I savoured it for around half an hour as I just observed Montpelliérains going about their morning.
A good cafe set in a really tranquil area.
