Melbourne has some really good Irish bars, and The Irish Times on Little Collins Street is no exception.

The Irish Times is a smallish, dark wood lined bar in the centre of the Melbourne CBD. Just around the corner from the Mitre Tavern and Diksteins. Creaky wooden stools and seats add to the ambience of the place.
As Coronavirus was descending upon the world it wasn’t difficult to get a seat mid-week but there were still a good number of people wanting a drink and the restaurant out the back was doing a roaring trade.
We had just popped in for a couple of drinks this evening – Guinness and Kilkenny were my tipples of choice.
Once the world is back in working order I’ll be heading back here.
