Akarenga Ramen, Sapporo, Japan

My morning in Sapporo was occupied by jumping on the tram and taking it for a full circle to see the city and its suburbs.

The tram got back to Susikino around lunchtime so I was peckish and looked for somewhere to eat.

Akarenga Ramen, Sapporo, Japan

Akarenga Ramen is in Sapporo New Ramen Street which is really an arcade with many restaurants. Akarenga Ramen is down the stairs.

As I hadn’t had any substantial breakfast I ordered the Char Sui Ramen with miso broth, a serving of Gyoza and, of course, a beer (Sapporo Classic).

The gyoza was the first dish to be ready and it was really tasty, and then the ramen arrived and it too tasted great.

Lots of restaurant choices in this area so you won’t be disappointed with wherever you choose.
