It was a beautiful Saturday and I headed out to the western suburbs of Seoul on the great metro system and was soon looking for today’s target, Ale Crew.
It is about a 15 minute walk from Sinchon station. Up an incline and then down a steep set of stairs to an old railway line that’s been made into a park / walkway with heaps of bars and restaurants lining the way.

On the Friday I decided to take a tour of the DMZ, about 50 kilometers northwestish from Seoul. While we couldn’t get into the Joint Security Area we were able to see over into North Korea despite the air quality being very poor.
The tour had us returning to central Seoul around 4:45pm and having only water and a small snack during the day I was keen to find somewhere for a beer and food.
Opening up maps on my phone pointed me towards one of the Daily Beer locations near Jong-Gag station.

To close out the evening around Yongsan I wanted to visit a local brewery called The Hand and Malt Brew Lab Yongsan. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from Yongsan Station. I was to find out on my way home that its easier to get there underground through the metro station .
