Crowne Plaza ANA Osaka, Osaka, Japan

This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza ANA Osaka having stayed here 2 years ago.

The hotel is around 400 metres from Osaka station where you’ll probably arrive from Shin-Osaka station but luckily there’s a shuttle bus that runs half hourly or so between the station and the hotel. I can’t seem to find the shuttle bus on the English website, but there is one.

The area is pretty good with heaps of restaurants, bars, convenience stores and easy access to public transport.

Check-in was upto the usual Crowne Plaza standard and I was off to my room pretty quickly. The room was pretty much as last time with a queen bed and a view south over the river towards Yodoyabashi.

I had a room at the end of the corridor so it was very quiet, and the great bed made for a good nights sleep.

My rate included breakfast from the buffet which was good but it wasn’t as extensive as the buffet at the Crowne Plaze ANA Kobe but was still a good breakfast.

As my stay was short I pretty much only used the hotel to sleep and for breakfast and a couple of days later I was checking out (again very efficient) and on the shuttle bus for Osaka station where I’d take the local train to Shin-Osaka for the last of my shinkansen rides for this trip, the 2 hours and 47 minute ride to Shinagawa in Tokyo.
