After Bar Palace I retired to a bar closeby called The Beehive. The area is buzzing (pun intended!) with restaurants and bars.

The ambience was, in my opinion, far better that Bar Palace and the beer choices were far more extensive, and what I would have expected of a European bar.
Being after lunch it was quiet and I grabbed a table inside and ordered a couple of beers.
Firstly I had a Tripel d’Anvers a strong fruity Belgian Tripel – yummy!
My next beer was a winter ale from Belgium called N’Ice Chouffe which I’d had in Toulouse at Tchin. This tasted superb and was a strong, sweet dark beer.
I’ll definitely visit here again.
