A decent place to meet as it’s right atop the train station and there’s a reasonable choice of beers and a couple of well patronized pool tables.
There’s a bit of a sports bar feel with the large TVs playing a selection of different sports from around the world.
There’re a number of specials during the week. For many years there was a “pints for the price of pots” promotion on the last Friday of the month. This then moved to every Friday for a while – keep your eye out for it!
The restaurant here is also quite decent – the chicken schnitzel is good in size and taste.
This place is completely non-smoking as it’s smack bang in the centre of a shopping centre. It’s a good winter bar when it’s miserable outside – during the summer try some of the nearby rooftops.
