I’ve been eating at Papa Gino’s for the better part of 30 years and I still love their food. Thankfully my mates also love it so there’s never an argument when anyone wants to eat here.

Tasty Italian food on Lygon Street, little Italy, in Carlton is the name of the game here.
Their pizzas are superb and my go to pizza for many years was an American with onion and capsicum. I had it so often that when I used to phone in my order on the way home they knew who it was for.
Pasta and steaks have been consistently good over the years, but these days a calzone rustico is my preference along with a glass or two of lambrusco.
Good, honest, tasty Italian food at what’s probably one of Melbourne’s best Italian restaurants. You can’t go wrong here.
