Tsindos, Melbourne, Australia

Lonsdale Street in the CBD opposite the QV complex is Melbourne’s little Greece and is where you will find Tsindos.

Tsindos, Melbourne, Australia

I’ve been here twice over the past several months and had excellent meals both time.

My first visit was with a group of around 10 and for simplicity we went a banquet of dips, bread, meat and seafood – something to please everyone (as a couple of the group had food allergies and preferences).

My next visit was a small affair for 2 of us so we just chose individual. The entrees of beetroot salad, mixed olives and bread were pretty good.

For mains I had the Paidakia which was char-crilled marinated lamb cutlets with roast vegetables, salad and rice. A large, tasty and very filling dish.

My friend had the grilled Blue Eye (I think it was the daily special) which was scoffed down quickly and was praised.

The mains plus the 2 entrees were enough to fill us up to the extent that we couldn’t order dessert.

The wine list also has something for every taste.
