After a quick flight from Seoul to Taipei I was ready to head out for a drink and dinner somewhere close to Taipei Main Station.
Across the road from the station is a shopping mall called Q Square, and along with lots of shops there are a good number of bars and restaurants. A quick look at the map and up the escalators to the fourth floor I was standing outside Le Ble D’Or with its interesting Chinese/German/Italian menu. In I went.

On my last Monday in Seoul I headed out to the Mapo area jumping off the metro at Gongdeog station.
I got there a little early so took the opportunity to have a walk around the Gengdeok Traditional Market which seemed to be winding down for the day.

It was a beautiful Saturday and I headed out to the western suburbs of Seoul on the great metro system and was soon looking for today’s target, Ale Crew.
It is about a 15 minute walk from Sinchon station. Up an incline and then down a steep set of stairs to an old railway line that’s been made into a park / walkway with heaps of bars and restaurants lining the way.
