On my first morning in Bordeaux I’d jumped on the tram out to the Cité du Vin, a museum devoted to wines. It was very interesting. I got in for free by buying a city pass which is a Bordeaux wide transport ticket as well as giving free or discounted entry to lots of attractions.

I bookended my Europe trip with a night in Hong Kong at either end to break the trip and allow for some decent sleep between the long flights.

Laksa Bar is an asain resturant up near the corner of Exhibition and Little Lonsdale Streets in the Melbourne CBD.
After a couple of drinks afer work at TRUNK with some current and former colleagues we needed to find somewhere to eat closeby.
I’d walked past Laksa Bar many times, and it was always well patronised, but never bothered to go in.
