InterContinental, Wellington, New Zealand

Had to head off over the pond to Wellington at the southern tip of New Zealand’s north island for a couple of days of work.

Stayed at the InterContinental on Grey Street. This is a great location, adjacent to wharf area that’s been done up as a recreational and dining area. It also a short walk, i.e. minutes, to the main shopping and business areas and probably a 15 minute walk to Cuba Street for food and nightlife.

InterContinental Sydney, Sydney, Australia

I had the chance to stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Sydney last week.

The InterContinental in Sydney is up near the Botanic Gardens on the corner of Bridge and Phillip Street. Just around the corner from Circular Quay. A very nice part of the city.

Griffin Hotel, Kingston, Canberra, Australia

The Griffin Hotel, aka Griffin Apartments, in Kingston, ACT is a hotel / serviced apartment complex that is really handy to the cafe / restuarant / pub scene of Kingston.The hotel is also really close to the city centre in Civic (about 10 minutes in a cab on a busy day), Manuka (15 minute walk if you are feeling energetic) and the Kingston strip is just across the road.
