After my beers at Gollem Raamsteeg I walked southeast towards my hotel looking for somewhere to have dinner. As I was heading down Spuistraat I found Cafe Luxembourg in a beautiful art deco building so headed on in.
You just grab a table as you walk in and the wait staff will head on over.
First point of order was to order a beer and I ordered a Leffe Tripel which is a very strong blond which I liked very much.
For main course I ordered a 225 gram rib-eye medium rare which came with vegetables, fries and herb butter. It was a quite nice steak.
Dessert was a serve of Belgian waffles with ice cream, cream and strawberries.
Overall I though the meal was pretty good but I think it was quite overpriced compared to De Nachtwacht in nearby Rembrandtplein.
