Another place I’d walked past many times and never ventured into was La La Land.

I’ve now visited several time and I like the place.
Head up the stairs to the left of the chinese restaurant and you’re in the bar that takes the whole first floor. A majority of the seating is leather couches which are pretty comfortable to sit on, but are at a premium on a Friday evening.
There’s a reasonable selection of beers both on tap and in stubbies. And there are some happy hour specials.
It’s a bit loud on a Friday evening, but during the week it’s quite easy to have a conversation.
