I was off on my first holiday since going to Europe in 2019 (Thanks COVID!). I decided to head to Seoul in South Korea and Taipei in Taiwan, spending a week in each.

For my last night in Seoul I’d decided to stay closer to Seoul Station so it would be easy to get from and to the airport train, especially as I’d be getting in from Taipei around 9pm.

After my curry I wanted to try the Daily Beer that was close by to see if it was more lively than that one I’d visited the previous Friday.

After an afternoon of decent beers at MysterLee I was looking for an early dinner, and my map had me heading to a small Japanese curry store just across the street from the bar called Oretachi Curry.

On my last Monday in Seoul I headed out to the Mapo area jumping off the metro at Gongdeog station. I got there a little early so took the opportunity to have a walk around the Gengdeok Traditional Market which seemed to be winding down for the day.

Where to go for Sunday lunch in Seoul. I decided to head over to Gangnam to check out the Goose Island Brewhouse.

To close out the evening around Yongsan I wanted to visit a local brewery called The Hand and Malt Brew Lab Yongsan. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from Yongsan Station. I was to find out on my way home that its easier to get there underground through the metro station .

I’d decided to spend the day around the area where my hotel was so I’d headed to the I’Park Mall Yongsan for a bit of a look around. The mall is ontop of Yongsan railway station.
