After a couple of beers at the 82 Ale House I’d headed out looking for dinner which proved to be harder than I thought it would be on a Wednesday evening in autumn.

After a couple of tries I found Toritetsu, a yakitori restaurant, near Akasaka subway station and headed in.

82 Ale House, Akasaka, Tokyo, Japan

In the early evening I headed back into Akasaka looking for a drink and some dinner. I had a bit of a shortlist of bars – one I couldn’t find, the other wasn’t open yet so I headed to the 82 Ale House.

Yona Yona Beer Kitchen, Akasaka-Mitsuke, Tokyo, Japan

After exploring some more of Akasaka in the morning with a visit to the closeby Hie Shrine I headed into the Yona Yona Beer Kitchen that’s situated pretty much right on top of¬†Akasaka-mitsuke subway station.

Sansa, Minato, Tokyo, Japan

I was now back in Tokyo for the tail end of my trip. In the past I hadn’t explored the Akasaka area so was determined to do so this time.

A search pointed me to a restaurant / bar with very good reviews about 200 metres from my hotel by the name of Sansa.

Crowne Plaza ANA Osaka, Osaka, Japan

This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza ANA Osaka having stayed here 2 years ago.

The hotel is around 400 metres from Osaka station where you’ll probably arrive from Shin-Osaka station but luckily there’s a shuttle bus that runs half hourly or so between the station and the hotel. I can’t seem to find the shuttle bus on the English website, but there is one.
