Loop Roof is another great little laneway, rooftop bar in Melbourne. It’s on Meyers Place in the building next to Lane’s Edge.

There’s no lift here so you’ll need to trudge your way upto the rooftop (it’s only 4 floors so if my portly frame can do it anyone can!)
Once you’ve made it upstairs you’re welcomed by a large, bright open air patio area with around 10 or 12 tables, and some bench seating, set around planter boxes with cacti, at each end of the bar.
On a warm afternoon it was a nice, peaceful place to chill out in the centre of the CBD hustle and bustle.
What was quite surprising was the craft beers that were available. I was really impressed.
