The Mitre Tavern, Melbourne, Australia

Centrally located off Collins Street, The Mitre Tavern becomes a busy, office worker haunt after hours. During the summer months the ourside areas become a seething mass.

There are a good selection of beers on tap which you can order at the bar, or from the roving bar staff. The bar snacks are pretty decent, and there is a steakhouse upstairs that is one of the best in Melbourne.

Several large TVs adorn inside and outside to allow you to watch whatever sport is on offer that day.

Thankfully the outside area is broken up into smoking and non-smoking areas.
