Hana’s Kitchen, Melbourne, Australia

After 112 days of lockdown Melbourne has started to rouse from it’s slumber. A couple of us were looking to get out and about in the slowly opening city.

We ended up at Hana’s Kitchen for a Japanese meal.

The place was empty when we arrived so we had no problems getting a seat once we’d signed in on the COVID register.

There was a good menu of Japanese dishes.

The starter of pork gyoza was very good but the main curry katsu don, while tasty, didn’t take me back to the great curries I’d had in Japan.

I think Hana’s Kitchen is worth another visit to try some other dishes.

Most importantly, please support local bars and restaurants after the extended shutdown.
