After the drive up from Melbourne at some ungodly hour on a Monday morning we were all in need of caffeine. As we drove through Daylesford we noticed Koukla and headed on in.

There’re tables inside, out on the footpath, and there’s also a courtyard area out the back where we perched ourselves.
All of us ordered coffees and my latte wasn’t too bad. I was the only one to order food so I went with my bellwether dish of Eggs Benedict. The eggs were pretty good but the hollandaise sauce could have been a little more tart – but that’s just my personal taste.
Really nice setting for breakfast.
